Session: "Visions of Treasured Heritage" Aim: To celebrate our Montana Eastern Star heritage, the 125th year of Montana Statehood, and cultivate our visions, the heritage of our future. Motto: "Visions are the foundation of Heritage, by which we treasure the past, challenge the present, and embrace the future. Our members are our Heritage." Watchwords: Enlighten, Encourage, Exemplify A Prayer to Begin Each Day: To See Thee More Clearly, And marvel at Your magnificence in every creation. To Love Thee More Dearly, And each other, with tolerance and acceptance, wisdom, patience, and courage. To Follow Thee More Nearly, Compassionately, humbly, generously, with love, kindness and forbearance. Day By Day WGM's Scriptures: "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalms 118:24 "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1 WGM's Colors: Oro y Plata (gold and silver) WGM's Flowers: Bitterroot, bear grass, and other wildflowers of Montana WGM's Honor Stations: Warder and Sentinel WGM's Fun Symbols: All that represents our glorious state of Montana: the wildlife, the sun, moon, stars, and wind; majestic mountains, pristine waters, amber grain waving in the wide open spaces; the gifts of God which inhabit our forests and plains; the cultures which define our Heritage. WGM's Musical Selections: All classes of music, including jazz, classics of all ages, classical, new age, popular tunes; All hymns, including Star of the East, Be Thou My Vision, His Eye is on the Sparrow, Surely the Presence of the Lord is in this Place, Here I Am Lord; Other favorites include Colors of the Wind, I Hope You Dance, Morning Has Broken, all music of Montana, any music befitting the season or occasion.
